Caprese Sourdough Breakfast Sandwich

  • 4 slices California Goldminer┬« Sourdough Square Bread, toasted
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 slices fresh Mozzarella cheese
  • 6 slices tomato
  • 2 tbsp. balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 eggs, cooked to your liking
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • ┬╝ cup fresh basil leaves


  1. Drizzle two slices of toasted bread with olive oil. Layer each with two slices of Mozzarella and three slices of tomato. Drizzle with the balsamic glaze, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Layer each with one egg and two slices of prosciutto, and sprinkle with fresh basil leaves. Top with remaining toasted bread slices and serve.
